Photos of Dendrobium Densiflorum, Cattleya and Brassavola digbyana Orchids.

To try and photograph all Orchid varieties around the planet would mean a battle with
windmills. A lifetime of hard work and travel would not suffice to catalogue the sheer over-
whelming number of Orchids in nature, let alone those created by man. The select examples
on this page are to demonstrate some of the genus' diversity. They're all Orchids. Oh yes.
The Dendrobium Densiflorum flowered off a tree at the Edison Ford Estate in Fort Myers.
The (hybrid) Cattleya grew from an old stem at the Enchanting Floral Gardens of Maui, HI.
And the Brassavola digbyana flourished under the care of some dedicated Florida retirees.
Today almost any exotic species can be obtained and grown in a controlled environment.
